Notice of April 1 Delta ISB Meeting

SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - On April 1 at 9 a.m., the Delta Independent Science Board will meet virtually to discuss its reviews and activities. This will include a discussion on the draft summary of the Emerging Climate Science Symposium. Delta Lead Scientist Dr. Lisamarie Windham-Myers will also provide an update on how the Delta Stewardship Council’s Delta Science Program is planning to address comments from the Delta ISB’s 2026 draft Delta Science Plan review.
Additionally, the Delta ISB is conducting a review on contaminants monitoring. To inform this review, Stephanie Fong of the Interagency Ecological Program within the California Department of Fish and Wildlife will provide an overview of their program, its role in coordinating research and monitoring, and the regulations that guide contaminants monitoring.
