BAKERSFIELD, CA (MPG) - With early primary election results showing Congressman Vince Fong with the overwhelmingly support of Congressional District 20 voters, Fong released the following statement:

“I am honored and humbled by the strong support from the voters of California’s 20th Congressional District. These early results reflect the trust that families across our district have placed in our work getting results, defending our values, and fighting for the communities we call home.

Our campaign has always been about strengthening our communities, expanding opportunity, and ensuring our region has a strong and effective voice in Washington. Tonight’s results show that message is resonating. I look forward to continuing to earn the support of voters in the months ahead and working every day to advance the priorities of the people I am blessed to serve.”

Fong was elected to represent California’s 20th Congressional District in 2024. He previously served in the California State Assembly.
