SACRAMENTO REGION, CA (MPG) - To our supporters, friends, and community members:

Thank you to everyone who participated in the June Primary Election and to those who followed the Assembly District 3 race over the past several months.

It looks good from the early returns that I am in the top 2 and advancing to the general in November!

As of this morning, a significant number of ballots remain to be counted across the district, and election results remain unofficial. Current results show we’re holding a lead of approximately 2,000 votes over third-place candidate. Counties will continue processing and reporting ballots in the days ahead before results are certified.

Throughout this campaign, we have continued to grow, gaining visibility and engagement all the way through the primary election. The race attracted substantial interest across the district, and campaign finance reports indicate that spending levels varied significantly among the candidates.

Looking ahead, if the current standings hold, the November General Election will bring a new phase to the process. This would not be possible with out the help of our amazing grassroots coailtion and going forward, we will need you more than ever.

Historically, general elections attract substantially more voters than primary elections, resulting in a larger electorate and renewed focus on the issues facing Assembly District 3. We are encouraged that there is a path to victory in the general as we do this together.

For now, our focus remains on ensuring every eligible ballot is counted and allowing the election process to play out. We appreciate the many individuals who have followed the race, participated in the democratic process, and stayed engaged in issues important to our communities.
