MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) — Dom Belza announced that the Yuba County Republican Party has officially endorsed his candidacy for California’s 3rd Assembly District. Belza is now endorsed by the Sutter, Yuba and Placer County Republican Parties. A full list of endorsements can be found here.

“Dom Belza is one of our own, and Yuba County Republicans know he will fight for our farms, our families and our way of life,” said Yuba County Republican Party Chair Johanna Lassaga. “Voters here already made their preference clear in June. Dom won Yuba County because people trust him. We are proud to stand with him and urge voters across the 3rd Assembly District to do the same.”

Belza, a fourth-generation North State agricultural businessman and former Marysville city councilman, thanked local Republican leaders for the endorsement.

 “Yuba County is home. These are my neighbors, the people I grew up with, and the communities I have worked every day to serve,” said Belza. “I am thankful for the unifying trust that has been placed in me by the Yuba County GOP and so many others to deliver for the North State.”

Districtwide, Belza won the June Primary election with 45.2% of the vote. His nearest challenger trailed at 29%, 16 points behind Belza. The 3rd Assembly District includes all or portions of Butte, Sutter, Yuba, Tehama, Glenn and Placer counties.
